How do I get started?
Simply download Spendlyst from the App Store and start adding transactions. No account required! You can begin tracking your expenses immediately.
Is my data secure?
Yes! All your financial data is stored locally on your device. We don't sync data to the cloud, and we don't require an account. Your data stays private and secure.
How does receipt scanning work?
Receipt scanning uses Apple's Vision framework to extract text from receipts entirely on your device. No images are sent to external servers. The extracted information is then used to help categorize your expenses.
What is AI categorization?
AI categorization uses OpenAI's API to automatically suggest categories for your expenses based on merchant names, amounts, and other transaction details. This helps save time and ensures consistent categorization.
Can I export my data?
Yes! Data export is available as a Pro feature. You can export all your transactions as a CSV file for use in spreadsheets or other financial tools.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings:
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Find Spendlyst and tap "Cancel Subscription"
What happens if I delete the app?
Since all data is stored locally on your device, deleting the app will remove all your transaction data. We recommend exporting your data before deleting the app if you want to keep a backup.
Do you support multiple currencies?
Yes, Spendlyst supports multiple currencies. You can set your preferred currency in the app settings.
Can I use Spendlyst without an internet connection?
Most features work offline! You can add transactions, view your data, and scan receipts without an internet connection. AI categorization requires an internet connection.
